The first phase of Startup House's Pre-accelerator Program has successfully entered the final stage, providing participants with a strong foundation for their entrepreneurial journeys.
The Power of Collaboration and Iteration
The initial four-week phase focused on developing essential entrepreneurial skills and building strong teams. We received an overwhelming response, with 100 applications and 77 participants from diverse backgrounds joining the program.
From the initial 30 ideas presented, 15 teams were formed and immersed themselves in a two-day Idea Design Bootcamp. During this intensive session, teams received mentorship from seasoned experts in design, business development, science, hardware, software, and other fields.
The first phase aimed to foster collaboration, idea generation, and early-stage validation. Teams worked together to identify promising ideas, form cohesive teams, and begin the process of iterating and refining their concepts. The final week of the phase focused on 'lean startup' principles, guiding teams on the next steps in their entrepreneurial journey.

What's Next?
The second part of the Pre-accelerator Program begins on October 1st and will run for 12 weeks. Teams from the first phase are encouraged to reapply, and new teams looking to join the program are welcome.
